Food-derived natural compounds to explore target proteins and associated diseases

FooDisNET contains 6329 foods, 53920 compounds, and 22865 target proteins, of which 4565 target proteins are associated with 26180 symptoms or metabolic disorders. In addition, the collected target proteins involved in 332 KEGG pathways, 2260 reaction pathways (Reactome), and 19342 Gene ontology term (including biological process, cellular component, and molecular function). The website can understand each other association from four perspectives, namely food, compound, target, disorder.

To make it easier to understand the relationship between the compounds in food and the target protein and disease, we have created food-disease and disease-food interaction networks.
